JULY Member Spotlight - Shelly Milford
How Long have you been a member of CrossFit Life CSP? I started Feb 2019 but with covid19 I didn't train very hard for March and April….I am so happy that restrictions have been lifted and able to be back training together!!!
What motivates you to get to the gym every day? I love when I make a little bit of progress... sometimes its a new PB and other times it is I feel comfortable doing a move either on the barbell or on the rig that I couldn't do last time I tried. When I did my first RX workout I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day!!
Favourite Exercise/CrossFit WOD? I love running and this is very handy when they are in CrossFit WOD but my favorite CrossFit exercise is climbing the rope!!
What is your least favourite? I HATE SKIPPING.....
What do you like to do outside of CrossFit? I love hula hooping in the yard while my kids bounce on the trampoline.
Tell us something not many people know about you? I live with family on a property we have 8 Humans, 7 Budgies, 6 Chickens, 5 Green tree frogs, 4 Gold fish, 3 Dogs, 2 Duck and a Blue tongue lizard.
What are your current short/long term fitness goals? Maybe doing double unders… could be helpful so I could get skipping done quicker!! I am also keen to be in a CrossFit competition and that is another short term goal! Long term goal is to be able to hand stand walk 1 meter.
